| Hero Quest opened its doors in May of 2003 with a small location in historic downtown Howell Michigan. We spent our first year there and as much as we loved the downtown setting, we quickly outgrew that location and moved to our current spot near Chilson Rd. in the Newtowne center. Hero Quest is the only comic book specialty store in Livingston County and we carry the complete line of titles from Marvel, DC, and hundreds of other titles from Dark Horse, Image, Vertigo, and others. We have several bookshelves lined with graphic novels, hardcover comics, and trade paperbacks. To our comic readers we offer a free comic subscription service! Sign up and you'll never miss an issue of your favorite comic! If we do miss one you'll get two issues absolutely free! Our gaming selection is second to none. Not only do we carry the complete line of products from Games Workshop, Wizards of the Coast, Avalon Hill, Reaper, and more, we actually sponsor and run many of these games in tournaments and casual play every day right here in the store! With room for up to 30 players, Hero Quest is the only store in the area offering you a place to play in official events! If it's role-playing games or board games your looking for, you won't find a store with a better selection! Everything from the latest best-sellers to the more obscure titles for the dedicated reader and hobbyist. As far as "official" goes, Hero Quest is a Premier Wizards of the Coast Retailer, an official Wizkids Venue, a GAMA Member, and a Games Workshop Rogue Trader. We've held national qualifer events for D&D miniatures, Duel Masters, Heroclix and Mechwarrior.
